Wanted List

I’ve noticed that more and more people are reading our releases for therapeutic purposes, like to lift them up when they have a bad day, or they think of it as a birthday present when it’s their birthday, and anything else that doesn’t make them go crazy and start ravaging their fridge or eating babies. We’re glad we were able to help you. We live to serve. Now please pay for your therapy sessions at the cashier on your way out. Kidding. ^^

I have a lot of things to announce so let’s get started. Anyone who wants to apply for a position in Aerandria, please use our Contact Form.

1. We need experienced cleaners, meaning people who clean the raw scans, crop them, level them, and make them all pretty for us so we can put the English translations in. I love Tango to bits but I don’t want to impose on her too much.
   Cleaners urgently needed!
2. I need one Quality Checker. I’ll train you myself so that you’ll be able to help me handle some of the QC jobs. Basically checker of all the jobs.
3. We need one typesetter too. The job entails putting the English texts in the scans. We have enough typesetter applications. Apply for Editor instead! XD
4. And it seems the translations load is not enough for two, so we’re hiring another English Proofreader! Uh-oh. *looks around warily* We have enough applications. Now i just have to decide which ones to reply to. ^^
5. Fun fact: There’s another menace on the rise. They’re called Fanboys. They usually lurk on the IRC channel and poke me constantly for updates on Midnight Secretary. Beware.
6. Many thanks to the donators! I’ll have a special surprise especially for you guys next time.
7. Anyone who has ANY Ogura Akane series, throw them at us. We’d love to scanlate them for you! ^^
8. Any because I’m lazy, we need one layout designer, most preferably with intermediate experience in graphic design and designing images from scratch. We’ll advertise your online portfolio here or what not in return. We can pay some, but please Contact us on the terms. ^^

Note that we have a heavy workloads and at least a turn around time of 2 weeks (1 week for QCers). Please keep that in mind when applying.

On to the releases.

1. Konya mo Hitori de Nemurenai chapter 3 – Are you sure this is a horror story? But.. but… it’s so… so… CUTE! Thecharacters make me want to squish them and squish them until they start to… *looks around at the shocked faces* Well… *cough*
2. Full House Kiss chapter 7 – KITTY! KITTY! Welcome Emily, our new editor for Full House Kiss! ^^
3. Dragon’s Heaven chapter 2 – This will be our last release for this series. Yes, we’re officially dropping this series. The main reason has to do with the series itself being discontinued by the mangaka. Sorry, guys. Many thanks to Daradara for working with us on this series!
4. Shibariya Komachi chapter 2 – IRC release only. We’ll be doing that for this series till the last chapter we’ll do before we drop this series, which is chapter 4.
5. ANNNNNND because I’m lazy, I’ll give give these releases in one go! Gekka no Kimi chapter 17 – Sweet, sweet chapter. ^^ Welcome Alejandra and Nix, our new editors and Qcer, respectively! \o/
6. Tenshi no Hane to Akuma no Shippo chapter 3-6 – Any because Tango is amazing, you get not one, not two, but FOUR chapters of Tenshi no Hane!
7. Barairo my Honey chapter 5 – Uh-oh, Ohmi Tomu stuff. The fangirls will go wild! ^^
8. Goraihou Gakuen e Youkoso! chapter 1 – New series! Read this one. It’s SO hilarious. Plus, the staff and I have a special dance number at the end. ^^

I’ll be letting the applications for the various positions come in for a few days more before replying. I just want to make sure anyone who wants to apply has ample time to do so. Again, Cleaners are urgently needed!

I feel really guilty about dropping Dragon’s Heaven, probably mainly because it’s a project that Tii-chan has left me before she quit. But having no staff for it, plus the author discontinuing the story at 3 volumes prompted it. Oh, well. Maybe some great group will pick it up again. ^^

We’ll be doing IRC-only releases for series that have been licensed and that we’re just finishing some pending chapter for before we drop it. And no, this is NOT another April Fool’s joke. >D

Oh, and for all those impatient types, please stop searching the words “midnight secretary 13″ on search engines. Yeah, we know you do so. How do we know? Because…. we SEE you~~~~ XDD
