Rants.. and Then Some…

Today, we have for release chapter 7 of Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume. Many thanks to Kitsunedaa and the rest of the Intercross staff for this release! \o/ Also we’re releasing chapter 4 of Akuma to Dolce, a joint with Serenus Dreamers!

Another release is Part 1 of a new series, Renri no Eda. I think this is based on a korean story, which was later made into a movie. You can see the color pages of the actors and photoshoots and such on the first few pages. Enjoy!

Also, just some replies to issues that have been bugging us for a while.

Starting today, any comment or email like this:

Please, please, please release the next chapter of this manga! Because I like it very much!

or like:

Release the next chapter!!!

will be put in the Spam Box and will never see the light of day. Chances are all your succeeding comments and emails will never make it to us after that. What I did before was just delete them. But now that they’ll be put in the Spam Box, one comment like that and everything you write thereafter will be put in the trash bin.

Why the sudden stand? Because we’re tired of getting these kinds of complaints when we’re doing our best to give you really fast and high quality releases. We’re tired of hearing these kinds of complaints from people who do not even help us in any way but feel they have the right to demand things from us. We do our releases out of our love for manga. We do not get paid for it. So we do not understand how people who do nothing complain on the frequency of our releases.

Does that mean all comments regarding succeeding chapters will be banned? No. Comments like:

Wow! That was an awesome chapter! I can’t wait for the next release!

is all right since you’re saying that the released chapter was good and that you’ll be anticipating the next chapter with excitement.

We LOVE getting comments. It’s one of the things that keep us going to strive to give you great releases. But please try to be nice and don’t complain about the frequency of releases. And you certainly can’t ask for the next chapter when the previous chapter was just released a couple of days ago! It’s just rude.

Next one:

Can’t you put your releases in torrents or in IRC?

Probably because we don’t know how. Would you rather we spend our time trying to figure out those programs or do you want us to spend our time working on our manga releases? Enough said.

We already chose the easiest way for people to get our releases. Besides, we have sites in our Links section which hosts our mangas for us. You can go visit them for the downloads too.

In other stuff, we’ve got more than enough applications for French Proofreader already so we’re closing that position now. Unless, of course, if you’re really fast and really proficient in French and English.
