Lacaille Appreciation Week XD

Thanks everyone for all the love, hugs, kisses, glomps, cookies, cakes, popsicles, frozen apple juice, newborn babies, and positive comments that you sent us during the past week ^^ We staffers have revived quite a lot and are ready to work hard again (I, for one, have gotten over my cold, yay!) To celebrate, we have another week of releases for you, and we call it…*drums rolling* Lacaille Appreciation Week! /me prepares a pile of pillows and a box full of almond chocolate for Lacaille. Sit back, relax, and leave the site to us, Lacaille~ We promise we won’t break anything ^^;;

We’re also currently hiring the following:

1. Quality Checkers – You’ll be given both the editing test and the proofreading test.
2. Editors – People experienced with Photoshop or any graphics editing program. And no, Paint doesn’t count.
3. Cleaners – People who are good at cloning, but don’t like working with fonts
4. Typesetters – People who have fun working with fonts (like Daffyd \o/)
5. Japanese and Korean Translators
6. Midnight Secretary Cleaner – We need a cleaner starting from chapter 25 since Shadow Chick will be going on a bit of hiatus. We need a person experienced in editing AND redrawing since we use magazine scans for the latest MS chapters. Turn around time is two weeks per chapter. Note that we need quality work on this, otherwise we don’t know how the rabid fangirl population will react. Workload is light since MS only comes out once per month in Japan and MS25 is the latest chapter. Current Aerandria Cleaners are welcome to apply.

Before we get to the releases, though, there are two issues that we would like to address:

1. Regarding Kiss/Hug, as a lot of people have noticed, it’s been a long time since we last made a release of this project. The reason for this delay is: this is a joint project between Aerandria and Serenus Dreamers – we are in charge of scanning, translating, proofreading, and QCing, and Serenus Dreamers is supposed to edit. We already sent the translation for the whole of volume 2 to Serenus Dreamers back in July. However, the two admins at Serenus Dreamers went MIA recently, so we lost contact with them, and there hasn’t been much progress with this project. We are trying to work something out with Serenus Dreamers, and hopefully, there will be more releases of this series soon.
2. For some certain projects, we will not release at a speed faster than the release rate in Japan. For example, Akagami is published once every two months in Japan, and it takes at least four chapters to complete a whole volume so there’s a big gap between the releases of two consecutive volumes (approximately 8 months). If we release Akagami at a speed faster than once every two months, there will be a really long wait between the end of one volume and the start of the next one. Therefore, please be understanding and don’t ask us when the next chapter of a certain project will be released. Projects falling under this category include: Akagami no Shirayuki Hime, Hanatsuki Hime, Himegimi no Tsukurikata, Kamisama Hajimemashita, Shounen Dolls, and Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen. We’re NOT dropping these projects, we’re just evenly spacing out our release dates between each chapter of their respective series. Also, for people who think that two weeks is way too long for one chapter of Midnight Secretary to be released, please keep in mind that Japanese fans have to wait one month for their MS fix ^_^ We currently work on the speed as the manga magazines come out in Japan, so if you want to help, scan magazines for us or donate.

We also have one small announcement: We will not pick up Pheromomania Syndrome after all, since Shoujo Magic appears to be back now, and A Willful Muse seems interested in this project as well. We apologize to all the fans who suggested this project to us, and we hope you will look forward to the other two groups’ releases.

Finally, onto the releases!

1. Kingyo Sou – another chapter of this heartwarming series. I swear, Fujitsuka Yuki has become a new mangaka for me to stalk >D
2. M.C. Law chapter 5.1 to 5.8 – Yes, eight whooping chapters of our genius 19-year old lawyer!
3. Gekka no Kimi chapter 22 – Hazuki!!! *sniffs*
4. Private Prince volume 4 – Yes, an entire volume again. AND a cliffhanger. ^^
5. NG x Baby – An ‘awwww’-inducing one shot by Tachibana Yutaka!
6. Ghost Only chapter 12 – Yes! After a year’s hiatus from the author, we give you chapter 12! Though we wonder if the next chapter will come out next year again… >.>
7. B-EYES chapters 5.1 to 5.3 – And we finish volume 2! \o/ Is it just me or are there people wishing this had some boy love? XD
