Our heroine is a girl named Butterfly who lives as a geisha-in-training in Japan. She has a male childhood friend, Chinatsu-san who’s always been kind to her and is her favorite. She goes to visit him one day and finds a naked woman lying in his room. Immediately after, she gets a customer who’s a foreigner who’s rich and willing to buy her. The thought of being away from her friend pains her, but is everything really too late?

It was perfect. The real world is filled with enough angst as it is, and I was so happy to read this story that is filled with fairy-tale love and happy endings. One of the sweetest couples out there! I’m so so so grateful he wasn’t killed off, and I love the uncle hahaha!!!
