Hello, people! I’m the resident horror translator, now turned into your personal Easter Bunny with a basket full of goodness. Why the change, you ask? Being an Easter Bunny is not about fluffy tails – it takes stamina and bravery. Bringing you manga is a job only heroes with determination and nerves of steel can do. So the Aerandria staffers reasoned – who can be more suited to the job than a horror translator?!

So, in order to bring you all of this week’s releases, I had to undertake, for a second time in my life, the perilous and mystic journey to the very heart of the Land of the Living Bishies. After the magic carpets of JAL dropped me off on the edge of the unknown, I had nought but a rough map on a piece of parchment and vague memories of a previous life to lead me through impassable jungles, deep, dark underground tunnels, watched on all sides by ethereal and timid fairies as well as coiling beasts, ready to strike the moment I take one wrong step.

At long last, I reached my destination – the ancient, moss-grown ruins of the Temple Of The Poisonous Centipede. But I did not dwell there long, despite its horrific fascination – I felt the calling of the elusive and mythic Fountain Of Eternal Happiness. Despite my burning desire to stay and bask in it forever, I humbly had just a few helpings of its flowing riches and returned back here, to the light and familiar land of Aerandria.So reach into my basket of chocolate eggs, sugary bunny-totems and exotic sweets and find your own favorite manga among them…

Raspberry Field no Majo Chapter 2 – The girl’s character is interesting… how can she mixed up a devil for a sheep? The pure white, fluffy sheep?! ROFL.

I would like to give a HUGE thanks to all the staff members who worked sneakily to release stuff for my birthday without me knowing. *bows* I am ashamed to say that I had no idea that they were planning anything at all. Though the fact that they were asking much weirder questions than usual for days should have alerted me. I didn’t even know it till 6 hours after the fact and I only knew because I got a warning email from our filehost at Manga Avenue saying some files were disabled because of too much http connections (downloads). Imagine my confusion when I knew for a fact I haven’t released anything yet for that day. That was the moment I decided to check the site and noticed the sneaky releases. *hugs the staff* THANK YOU!!!

Now for some serious stuff. We know we’ve always been fun and crazy here in Aerandria but I’d like to ask for your attention for the moment. Last Saturday some of our staffers here (including me) were devastated by the typhoon Ondoy which caused non-stop heavy rains in the capital regions of the Philippines for a more than a day. This caused massive flooding and devastation of lives, loss of homes and a lot of people still missing. Some flooded areas reached up to 3 stories high in flooded waters (my aunt’s home). Though, and we give huge thanks for it, the staffers escaped the worse of the situation. Some of us experienced long power and phone blackouts, some were forced to spend the night on a school floor because the roads have become impassable, and others had their home flooded and precious belongings damaged. Even with that, we are extremely thankful that we still have our homes and our loved ones. We already sent out some basic necessities like dry clothing, clean drinking water, rice, coffee, sugar: things that we so easily take for granted.

So we ask those of you who are capable, or have the means to, please consider helping out the victims of Ondoy. Google even dedicated a whole page for information, and where and how to send help. We at Aerandria will get nothing from this. This is not for us. We are not associated with any organization that provide the help to the victims so we ask you to only send help to the accredited associations (listed in the Google page). DO NOT send us anything. If you can’t send help, please inform those who can. Anything you can do will be appreciated by those who need help.

Thus, all releases for this week will be dedicated to the people who have been affected by the tropical storm Ondoy. We hope, in some way, the manga chapters we release here will give you a ray of hope and look forward to a rebuilding of a more promising future.

The stuffed teddy bear is back with a vengence! RAWR! >] Since we now know that you perceive me as a teddy bear, I think it’s only fair that we ask you what you think about the rest of the staff. *points to the new poll* So yes, it’s the staff’s turn now. *insert maniacal laughter*

Missed us? ^^ Well, after we’ve had a good dose of sleep and gorging on well-deserved chocolate, imagine my surprise when I see the poll results. XDD Really? So you guys are now imagining that a cuddly teddy bear is typing this update with its fluffy paws…? -cowers from the glinting eyes and wicked grins of the fangirls who wants to squish her- What sick, sick minds you have… XD I will say this here and now: There will be NO plushie smut in Aerandria, no matter how much you wish it! >O -covers her fluffy self with a blanket-

So… seeing how crazy the last one was, now we need suggestions for new poll ideas… We like serious, crazy, and even random ones. ^^

Aerandria is now officially two years old! WHOOOO~ Open the champagne bottles, bring out the chocolates, throw the confetti, make some noise!!! ^^ We’d to thank everyone, and we mean everyone, who helped us along those two years with crazy deadlines, bishie drooling, fangirl fights and unabashed support and dedication. We’d like to thank each other too for… -looks around at the staff- bearing with each other’s fangirl attacks, sleepless nights and spurts of procrastination. XD THANK YOU! m(_ _)m

Jojo da ‘temptation’ Crow

Well since last week, weâ€™ve been dealing with some mutiny from the staff. It seems they didnâ€™t really take to being chained to their computers. We found poor Mari tied up and forced into a closet with 100 volumes of manga to translate. Luckily we rescued her before she went completely insane and she is recuperating this week.

This time we are going to try some new tactics on them. They do seem to like sweets a lot so what better way to encourage them than with cute sweet boys? *___* Thatâ€™s where I, the resident Shounen *coughShota* Director, comes in. Iâ€™ve been scanning away for the past few months and there are some great treats to come. Like boys in showers, or boys in chains, or my favorite: boys in distress?

*Jojo takes a moment to fan herself.*

These great manga are sure to get the staff â€˜s productivâ€¦

*Jojo abruptly stops her speech and she eyes the staffers whose eyes have glazed over and one or two that are licking their screens.*

Oh dearâ€¦ it looks like maybe giving them cute boys wasnâ€™t such a good idea. Â Letâ€™s hope that we can find someone who can prod Â them to work as well as Lacaille could.

Yesterday, I was cleaning out the staff room when, all of a sudden, I stumbled upon some staffers. There were three of them, all unaware of my presence (The disappearing ninja skills come with the position…). I was downwind from them and covered in head to toe with cobwebs and cheesecake crumbs. As I crept closer to them, I noticed that they were all occupied with their mop swords. They swung at the on-sale Easter candy and gobbled up peeps to keep up their energy. I quietly made a note to myself to never hand staff weapons until after their chapters are turned in.

I took a deep breath and charged forward. My whip disarmed all three of them. I targeted one and immobilized him with my whip. I turned towards the second staffer and pinned her down with my pitchfork. With the second secured tightly to the wall, I headed towards my final victim. My arms tensed as I prepared to launch the weapon at hand. I heard a thump and subsequently found the last staffer on the floor underneath my Buster Sword. I swoop down on all three of them to grab their chapters. I then picked up a mop sword and began sweeping the floor. How on earth did the whole floor become covered in midtones, dirt, chocolate, sugar, and crumbs?

Enough with this “Behind the Scenes” mumbo-jumbo. Pay no mind to the helpless staffers~ On to the releases!

Chocolate Bunnies!!!

*AHEM* In celebration of Easter Sunday, the staff and I have prepared a few gifts. Please ignore any chocolate stains or sugar sprinkles on the releases. When it comes to sweets… we have little restraint. To prepare these chapters, my mighty staffÂ decapitated chocolate bunnies and decimated marshmallow peeps. Tomorrow will be a true testament to their strength when they must conquer the After-Easter candy sale extravaganza. Now enjoy our releases! Many children were tripped for the goodies you’re getting today. Don’t let all their tears be in vain. \o/

As I’ve mentioned in my previous posts, Lacaille is having some problems with her job right now, and it turned out that she will have to quit scanlating completely ;_; Thanks for all of your hard work up until now, Lacaille. We will miss you a lot T.T Please come back to visit us every now and then ToT Everyone, please say your goodbye to Lacaille TT_____TT

On another note, Aerandria won’t be the same without Lacaille … so I think it’s better for me to move on and leave Aerandria. It was fun while it lasted here, and I’m proud to have been a member of Aerandria. It’s a great group! Please don’t stop enjoying our releases just because Lacaille and I aren’t here anymore. We love you, Lacaille! Aerandria will always have a special place in my heart. <3

We are still discussing about who will take the lead next. Notice to all staffers: if you are in direct contact with Lacaille, please continue to send your works to her, and she will forward all the emails to the next group leader. Thank you (:
