Despite all that, I’m here to bring you some news and ask for your help! Please take the time and read them~ _(_ _)_

• It seems Hachimitsu no Hana is on hiatus. The last release from the author was June 2009. The mangaka has been concentrating on her other series, Kaizoku to Ningyou.
• Billion Princess is also in hiatus. The creator hasn’t been actively working on this series. So after we release volume 3, we can all… camp out at the author’s front step.
• Venus ni Arazu‘s last chapter is chapter 7 so… *hands the smut fangirls some tissues to cry on*
• New random poll!

We’re also actively working on our other series but we need your help so please contact us and join! Most of us are taking on multiples tasks to bring these releases out to you as soon as we can. Please consider helping us out~ We’re fun, crazy, random role-playing maniacs who occasionally like to tie up bishies. >D

• We need quality checkers like you’ll never believe. Imagine all those edited chapters that are waiting to be released~ We’re buried in them and as much as we’d like to release them out to you guys, we need your help in QCing them.
• We need scanners for various series. The faster a chapter is scanned, the faster we can work on it~ Please~
• We also need experienced editors or people who are willing and patient to learn.

We’re happy to announce that another Winglica – Aerandria endeavor has finally arrived!

We hope with this new website, we would be able to help out our creative members to pour out their creative sides.

Admit it, most of us being anime and manga fans that we are, we have underwent a mad phase for fanfictions related to our favorite titles. So we thought, why not also make a small nook in cyberspace to have this creative juices sparkle in the sunlight? It will be fun! This is how WingedFanfics.com came about. We want to cater to the needs of creative anime and manga writers and fans and feed their hunger for more of their fave series!

Everyone is invited to register and start posting on their work! The site is new so we might encounter some boo-boos along the way. If you find any of these boo-boos, please don’t hesitate to tell us about it so we could fix it asap.

Yes, I know when you hear it from me you can’t believe it, but it’s true. And since Lacaille and I are the only two staffers who suffered through ALL 34 chapters and 3 extras (*cough* and I begged Lacaille to let me announce it *cough*), here it goes – we give you the last chapter of Midnight Secretary!

*waits until the stampede is over and continues with the speech* It’s a really special manga for me because it was the reason I got to know Lacaille and later – come to Aerandria. We were all very happy to see everyone loved MS so much, but scanlating such a popular manga turned out to be a real pain sometimes. I remember getting up at 6 in the morning to finish a chapter before going to lectures. Most of the editors have their own versions of the “MS syndrome,” too. XD Especially the last several months were very hard for everyone on the staff and I was even on the verge of quitting MS and all, but I pulled myself together and made it all the way to this last chapter!

I’d like to thank all other brave and dedicated staffers who worked on Midnight Secretary with me – Andi, Asahina, Claymaven, Kalidava, Karen, Lacaille, Lillazza, Lysabelle, Mira, Mirai, Nix, P-chan, Sakiera, Seventhmoon, Shadow Chick, Marcy and TalonDemonKing! Thank you! *glomps everyone*

And you, dear fangirls and fanboys, do NOT commit any suicides over the end of MS! Instead try out any of our other series! *hint-hint*

We have removed the download links on the site for Beast Master. As for Chou yo Hana yo, we have scanned till chapter 32, so we will be working on this project until that chapter so as not to waste the work of the staffers who sacrificed their time and energy to work on the series. All future releases will be via IRC.

We will then be dropping Chou Hana after chapter 32. We encourage you to support the author by buying the English manga books once they are released. Thank you.

What needs to be done?

• Rotate the images to make them straight
• Crop the extra areas from the scanners
• Level the images a bit to make them stand out and pretty
• Remove stray dirt, if any
• Merge double pages, if any

That’s about it. Anyone interested in applying can use the Contact form and just choose Others as the reason, and specify your desire to be the Artbook Editor.

If you’ve answered yes to the questions above, please consider joining our team! ^_^ We have a lot of projects that we plan to work on, and more staffers are always welcome. Here is a list of the positions available, for people who are interested:

1. Japanese translators:
   We need Japanese translators for Rouge Noir, as well as various oneshots. You can also suggest a title for us to pick up if you’re willing to translate it ^_^ The deadline for translators is two weeks per 50-page chapter.
2. Korean translators:
   We need one Korean translator for a new series, A Princess and a Bum. The deadline is two weeks per 50-page chapter.
3. Raw scans cleaners (aka Preppers):
   We still need more raw scans cleaners. These people make the job of editors/cleaners/cloning ninja a lot easier, and we love our preppers ^_^ The normal deadline for preppers is one week per 50-page chapter, but if you can’t meet this deadline, we have a lot of oneshots with a two-week deadline.
4. Editors/Cleaners/Typesetters/Cloning Ninja:
   We have around 20-25 volumes of translated manga that just need to be edited and QCed before they can be released. For that, we need your help (: If you’re not familiar with editing, but you’re willing to learn, feel free to drop by our IRC channel (#aerandria at irchighway)–we’ll always be there to help. The turnaround deadline for editors is two weeks per chapter, and for cleaners/typesetters/cloning ninja is one week per chapter.
5. Scanners:
   Last but not least, we need more scanners ^_^ If you have the books for any of the projects in our list, or if you’re willing to buy some of these books for us, we’ll be eternally grateful to you _(_ _)_ Also, if you have scans of projects that aren’t in our list, you can suggest us to pick up that title, as long as another group isn’t working on it, and it’s not licensed in English. We’re also looking for scanners who subscribe to magazines such as Hana to Yume, Lala, Lala DX, Betsuhana, Betsucomi, Petit Comic, and Melody. And if you have scans of old oneshots from certain authors (listed in our Wanted section), please let us know–we’d love to work on those oneshots (:
